Intranet and Portal Practice Leader, Based in New York - Susan Wiener

 

 
Susan brings more than 20 years of experience helping executives develop, communicate and execute sound strategic and organizational plans to support complex Web initiatives. Her proven success capitalizing on emerging technology trends includes founding an intranet firm in 1992 (bringing it public in 1997), and a collaboration software company in 1998.
 
Susan was most recently a vice president at Forrester Research, where she held a variety of roles focused on creating and delivering new business offerings for Web site effectiveness and the impact of technology on marketing. Susan developed and led Forrester’s Intranet Scorecard and Web Governance Practice. Susan was hired to help launch their e-business consulting practice.
 
In 1992, Susan co-founded Cognitive Communications, an intranet strategy, design, and development firm. Cognitive Communications developed and deployed the first enterprise-wide intranets for Corning, Xerox, Coca-Cola, and The McGraw-Hill Companies. She led the strategy practice, which provided clients with supporting business processes, content architecture, and Web site governance. Susan also co-founded Do-Able, whose award-winning team-based collaboration software was featured in Fast Company and CIO Magazine.
 
Susan is a frequent speaker at international and national conferences for IT and business audiences. Recent speeches include “Leadership Through Listening” and “Communicate the Value of the Web — Through Storytelling.” She serves on the advisory board of the Graduate Center of Marlboro College, which is dedicated to educating technology leaders. Susan holds a B.S. in sociology from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y.
 

Founder and Web Practice Leader based at Europe largest Technology Park Sophia-Antipolis (France) - Nicolas Bürki

 

 
Nicolas was a senior advisor at GigaGroup (now Forrester Research). Nicolas headed up Giga's Web effectiveness program to help global companies and non-profit organizations increase effectiveness of their public Web sites, intranets and enterprise portals.
 
Prior to joining GigaGroup, Nicolas was the technical director of a French consultancy focusing on Internet technology solutions. He set up the consulting activity from scratch by defining market offerings, building the development team, standardizing development methodology, and managing projects.
 
Previously, Nicolas was as a consultant at Accenture's Centre for Strategic Technology in Sophia-Antipolis, France. His work on emerging technology projects demonstrated the use of new technologies as business enablers. He also was a presenter at early-adopter Internet workshops for senior business customers.
 
Nicolas graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich in the school of Electronics Engineering, with a major in telecommunications and networks. He complemented his studies in multimedia data at the Institute Eurécom. Nicolas is fluent in English, French, and German. Nicolas is Jury Member of ICT Awards for Business Efficiency and member of Standard & Poor’s Vista Research’s Society of Industry Leaders.
